Dutch Warmbloods are particularly trendy at the moment and rightly so. The Dutch have spent a fortune on their breeding programmes and this has resulted in the more modern warmblood which is good looking, talented a super temperament and can generally turn its hoof to most disciplines.The Dutch realise the importance of soundness and rideability and the dutch warmblood has this in bounds! Of course there are many which will be specifically bred for a certain job e.g. dressage, show jumping, etc. Dutch horses are generally more suited to competition work than just being a happy hacker but ther are exceptions.
