Liz Sutcliffe has been involved in the business of buying and selling horses and ponies for over 20 years. Always interested in horses as a youngster she was involved in travelling around the world for a computer company after leaving college until the horsey bug finally took its hold and she left a well paid job to fulfill her dream and work within the horse industry!

This proved to be a steep learning curve for her as you may all well know there are a lot of crooks and rogues out there! It has taken many years of heartbreak, tears and hard experience to become established as a reputable and fair dealer in this tough trade. Liz has now built up a super loyal client base, and has now several expert and honest suppliers which have taken years to find.

Liz feels that honesty is definitely the best policy and this is the way forward for dealing with members of the public. Liz realises it is a minefield out there looking for the perfect horse but realises with her experience and contacts she can make your path to finding the right one an easier one. No longer will you have to travel miles only to find the horse does not fit the description, is not the right height, age, etc and yes even lame on some occasions.

Wasting time is not in Liz’s vocabulary!

Liz hand picks all her horses. They are chosen for their temperament, ability and soundness. From a 12.2 first pony to a top competition horse she will find you what you are searching for. If she does not have exactly what you are looking for she will know where it is.  Vets and trainers are welcome. Liz’s wealth of experience and contacts have now become an attractive package which can be passed on to her clients.

Liz also take horses in for schooling whether it be for training for dressage, or showjumping, or just to improve manners all round.

Horses also taken for selling on a livery basis. This is becoming more and more popular as it takes the pressure off the vendor. The horse is exercised daily according to its needs and prepared for sale in a professional and caring enviroment.

Liz has been on various yards in the time she has been in the horse trade !!

A real bone of contention at most of the yards Liz rented or visited (until recently )was shoddy arenas . 

Invariably unusable and totally unsuitable during extreme weather conditions. Liz realised a good sound paddock usable all year long with a firm but forgiving surface was a must for the modern sport horse.

Soundness and performance is top of the list at Liz’s yard and a great surface is a real must !!

Liz built a couple of arenas which were  successful at previous yards but was very disillusioned with unreliable workmen and soaring costs over budget. Her aim of a super surface was hard to acheive when dealing with shoddy workmen who wanted to cut corners and charge extortionate prices!!

Liz met Paul Jackson and they married in September 2007.

Paul has a successful Plant Hire Company and prides himself on competitive prices combined with Top Class Work from his long serving and skilled employees.

Finally a combination of Liz and Pauls experience and expertise has paid off and a super arena at a realistic price finished on schedule and on budget is now acheivable.
