Seriously talented

4yo Dutch bred, stunning looking chestnut gelding,

15.2 Currently but will probably make 15.3/ 16 hands.

He has amazing big loose paces for a small horse and a huge careful jump

He is an absolute pleasure to own being totally genuine and willing in everything asked of him.

He was professionally broken and has now been with me for approx 3 months to bring on and has come on leaps and bounds. He is forward and accurate in all 3 paces and easy to ride to a fence. The most honest 4yo you will find.

He won all 3 of his first dressage tests, the first ever unaffiliated with 73.8%- his first time in white boards! He then won a BD affiliated prelim on 68.6%.

Happily popping around 80/90cm courses with fillers, including white gate and water tray, no questions asked.

Has been xc schooled, happily jumped ditches, up and down steps and in and out of water first time.

Hacks out alone and in company, far braver than the older ‘nannies!’

Loads and travels brilliantly, easy to catch, excellent with the farrier, stands stock still to pull his mane and tail and is a really lovely chap who loves fuss and cuddles.

Great event prospect but has nice enough paces for pure dressage and a super jump for SJ.

He would suit anyone; teenager, mother/daughter, amateur or professional.

Sure to be an absolute star in the future, already getting admiring looks wherever he goes.

Hi Liz

Not seen you for ages so just thought i’d drop you a line to let you know how Sam’s been going on (can you believe it’s 5 years next month that i’ve had him!). Attached are 2 photos from Cheshire Show this week where he came 3rd in the Ridden Coloured. He has qualified for CHAPS ridden class again this year (3rd year running) and at CHAPS last year he just missed out on the evening performance in the Novice dressage and was placed in Prelim too. He is still doing well at BD and we are just about to start doing some Elementary tests.

We have also had loads of fun round farm rides and he squeals the whole way round, he loves it.

Hope you and Paul are ok, I must bob down with Chris Dillon at some point to look at the new yard.

(Also attached is a pic my friend took of him last year which is just gorgeous!!).

Love

Laura

Hi Liz,
Im not sure if you got the last email i tried to send with pics of walter so i will send them again to make sure!!!
The picture in the field is when we bought him 7 years ago and the others are more recent ones of him out enjoying himself. We jumped a double clear in the CCI** at Blair castle last season! He is a superstar and we couldnt have found a better horse. I will let you know if we get selected to ride on the rural riders european championship team this year.

Thanks again,
Laura

Hi Liz
Aldo is doing brilliantly, he has been hunting and stops for nothing, 4ft hedges are his specialty!
He has been to south view and only had one down in British novice class.
His first outing BE should be at Stafford, so we will let you know how he goes on. I will send you a picky when we get them.
Regards
Clive and a very happy Claire.

Dear Liz,
Just to update you on Zephir, who we bought from you in April. He came 2nd in his first dressage competition at Addington on October 10th in a Novice class and qualified for their Winter Championship, which will take place in April. In Early November he went to Hunters and came 3rd in the Prelim and 2nd in the Novice, which qualified him for the Championship where he was 2nd overall.
